Shipping & Returns

SHIPPING

All our orders are shipped from our Brisbane, Australia warehouse. We ship our swimsuits to Australia  and New Zealand using Australia Post and worldwide, to more than 40 countries, using DHL Express.

We aim to process and send all orders within 1-2 business days from the time we receive your order (excluding holidays and weekends). Please take into account the time difference: if you order Friday in the United States, it will be Saturday here in Australia which means that your order will be dispatched on Monday.

Once a parcel leaves our warehouse, we are no longer liable for that parcel being lost or damaged in transit

If you have PayPal, we would recommend using the platform to make your purchase in the event that you may need to return your swimsuit for a refund or exchange - PayPal offers Refunded Returns which means that they will cover the cost of your return postage up to a certain amount. Note that this service is offered by PayPal and not by Longpiece and may not be available in your country. For more information, please visit: https://www.paypal.com/au/webapps/mpp/returns 

AUSTRALIAN ORDERS - FREE EXPRESS SHIPPING

We offer free express shipping on all our domestic orders Australia-wide. 

Your Longpiece should arrive in 1-7 business days from dispatch, not including weekends or holidays. The closer you are to Brisbane, the faster you'll be in your Longpiece. You will receive a tracking number by email. 

* Note that deliveries may take longer due to Covid-19 related delays, which is something that is out of our control. 

NEW ZEALAND ORDERS - EXPRESS SHIPPING

We offer express shipping to New Zealand using Australia Post at a flat rate of AUD$15. 

Your Longpiece should arrive in 5-10 business days from dispatch, not including weekends or holidays. You will receive a tracking number by email. 

* Note that deliveries may take longer due to Covid-19 related delays, which is something that is out of our control. 

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS

We use DHL Express for all international orders and offer shipping at a flat rate of AUD$20.

You should receive your Longpiece between 3 to 7 business days from date of dispatch if you are located in a metropolitan area, deliveries to rural areas may take longer. DHL does not deliver to PO Boxes so you will need to provide us with a street address.

We currently ship to the following countries: Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada, Croatia, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Monaco, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, United States. 

We are currently unable to ship to the United Kingdom at this time, we aim to add this destination over the next few months. We are a small business located all the way in Australia, which means high shipping costs for us - we are always striving to add more destinations which can take some time. If you want to get your hands on a Longpiece but we don't currently ship to your country, get in touch at hello@longpiece.com - we will try to find a solution.

CUSTOMS & DUTIES

** International orders may be subject to import taxes, customs duties, and fees. These will be charged once the parcel reaches its destination country and must be paid by the recipient/customer. We do not have any control over these charges and we will not, under any circumstances, be responsible for these costs. As such, you may wish to contact your local customs office for more information before placing an order or visit simpleduty.com/import-calculator. We do not have the ability to estimate taxes and delivery before delivery. **

If you refuse to pay these charges, choose to refuse delivery or if your parcel is returned to sender, we will not refund you the original shipping costs. In addition, we will deduct the costs of shipping the package back to us from your refund amount. 

European Union Customers - Note that, as of July 1st 2021, the EU has removed the 22 Euro de minimis limit, which means that all orders sent from outside of the EU will be subject to VAT upon arrival. 

CURRENCY

Note that, by default, all product prices and payments made on this website are in Australian Dollars and that your payment will be processed in Australian dollars. Customers also have the option to navigate the website and pay in USD - Shopify automatically converts our AUD prices to USD, we have no control over the exchange rate used. 

RETURNS

We want you to be completely happy with your Longpiece. If you are not, please read our returns policy and conditions carefully to ensure that you are eligible to return or exchange your purchase.

We accept returns if the products are returned in the original condition with tags and liners attached. Please note all return requests must be made within 14 days of tracked delivery date.

If you love your new Longpiece but simply need a bigger size we can organize an exchange (depending on availability). If that's the case please mention it when contacting us as we may be able to hold the item for exchange while we wait for your item to be returned.

Please be careful when trying on your Longpiece so that you do not damage or mark it in any way including make up, tan and perfume.

*We reserve the right to refuse a return or an exchange if the item does not meet any of the above conditions.

IMPORTANT: All shipping costs associated with the return or exchange of an order are to be paid by the customer. We suggest that you opt for a carrier that offers tracking as we are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. Original shipping and handling changes are non-refundable.

HOW DO I RETURN AN ORDER?

If you have met the return requirements mentioned above and would like to request a return, please email our team : hello@longpiece.com with your name and order number. 

Once we receive your return and it has been processed and assessed by our team, we will refund your order (less the original shipping costs) and notify you via email.

All refunds will be processed via the original method of payment.

What if the item received is faulty?

We inspect all Longpieces before sending them to their new owners. However, we are human - if you think that there is a genuine manufacturing fault with the product received please take photos of the issue and email us at hello@longpiece.com

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Stock Levels

While we do our best to keep stock levels up to date, sometimes mistakes happen and unavailable stock may be displayed online. If that's the case, we will contact you to process a refund or to find a suitable alternative.

Incorrect Addresses 

The customer is responsible for making sure that the shipping address is correct. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the order will be canceled and refunded, minus the original shipping fees as well as the cost of shipping the parcel back to us.

Lost or Stolen Packages

We are not responsible for lost, held, or damaged packages or for customs or courier delays. You will be provided with a tracking number and are welcome to follow up with the carriers directly; should you require any assistance, please do contact us.
